Optics for a J-frame?

Has anyone tried putting an optic on a J-frame? I'm looking to see if a dot sight can actually be attached to it.

Anything “can” be done. But it’s going to take some pretty extensive work to do it. IDE say go for one of the plastic 9 or 380 semiautos.
