AR15 Reloads

Just finished loading 57 rounds of 87 grain 25-45 Sharps ammo. Now if it gets cooler will see how they shoot. Looking for approx 2900 FPS MV.

That's an interesting choice of cartridge for the AR. I see that most loading manuals list it capable of 3,000 fps out of a 24" barrel so it will be interesting to see what you can do with it in an AR.

What length barrel do you have? I have 16" and 18" barreled ARs that I shoot in 6mm ARC and with the 85 grain bullets the 18" will only make 2,700 fps

My barrel is 18 inch. If I only get 2700 fps I will be happy.
