So there is a show Sept 27 and 28th at the expo center in Louisville. I haven't been to that one before so does anyone have thoughts on this show?

It’s been a few years since I’ve been, but has been a fairly large one in the past.

I went to the show last weekend and it was not quite as large as I was expecting but overall I thought it was a pretty good show. Only a few non gun related booths ( coins mostly). On a personal note I didn't really care for the food options available.
i mostly have an interest in WWII stuff and the show had a fair amount of rifles available. There were a couple of reasonable priced examples but there was an abundance of what I would consider over priced rifles and a couple of 1911A1's in the almost reasonable price range of $1500 - $1600. If you really want a non collector USGI 1911 just buy one from the CMP instead.
I really want to goto Tulsa sometime in the next year but need to sell a house first so I have $$$ to do that.
