I'm reaching out to ask a few basic questions. I’d love to get some clarity on Kentucky's self-defense and castle doctrine laws, what I should expect legally after a defensive shooting, and perhaps some suggestions for reliable self-defense insurance. I think it’s wise to ask these questions now rather than scrambling for answers later. Thanks for being such a helpful community!

Welcome! NG here also. I would talk to a lawyer if I had specific questions, not rely on information from the net. Some of the insurance companies that offer CCDW insurance also have training or seminars you can attend. There is more misinformation on the net than information. Be careful to whom you listen to.
