What happens to your powder when the lid isn't fully sealed for a month

My measure started throwing inconsistent charges, and for a while I had no idea why. A container lid hadn't sealed properly, and a month of that let in enough moisture to cause bridging, mess with the metering, and even shift the burn characteristics slightly.

It crept in slow enough that I didn't catch it until the symptoms showed up at the bench. I don't treat powder storage casually anymore. Everything gets sealed properly, labeled clearly and kept somewhere climate controlled, no exceptions because I already know what happens when I skip that step.

What's in your reloading setup right now that you're assuming is fine but haven't actually checked in a while?

That's a genuinely good catch on your part. Most people would've just blamed the measure and started troubleshooting the wrong end. Moisture creep like that is insidious because it happens so gradually you miss the window where you could've prevented it. The bridging part especially makes sense. How long have you been reloading. Have you dialed in your storage setup now to where you're confident it won't happen again.
