Your handgun and rifle combo

If you were faced with the tough decision of keeping only one handgun and one rifle, what would your choices be?

Hard question to answer. But something in the same caliber. Just got a S&W Mountain gun in 10 mm. And the wife found me a Marlin in 10mm also for Xmas. Trapper so light and easy to carry. That would probably be it for me although I have others. I cannot wait to wring them both out with some factory and hand loaded ammo.

For me, it'd be my Winchester 1892 in 44 Magnum and my Ruger Blackhawk in 44 Special. Tough choice between a centerfire and a rimfire for the handgun, a Single Six might be more versatile. But, I enjoy reloading and casting, and that gives me 2 platforms to tinker with.
