Have you noticed any changes in the reliability of hollow-point defensive loads when exposed to low temperatures?

I had my slide slow down in cold weather once but it was the oil getting thick, not the ammo. I switched to thinner oil in the winter and it was reliable again right away.

Cold can stiffen powder and materials a bit but quality hollow‑points usually run fine if the gun does.

I believe you’ll have more issues related to lubrication than ammo re temperatures. Oils, grease and some of the modern “superlubes” get very tacky when exposed to cold temps. I’d be looking there if I was having reliability issues that I did NOT have with the same ammo/gun combo in warmer weather.
