Howdy folks! I'm Jack. I was born and raised in Utah. I grew up fishing and hunting in the Uintas. I started building muzzleloaders when I was a kid. I'm still at it making custom Flintlocks now. I also have a passion for guns of the old West and some modern guns. I moved to Kentucky in 98. I've enjoyed the outdoors here. Camping, hunting, fishing, spending time in the woods with my son. We bought some land in Braken county a few years back. It's been a great spot for white tail deer and playing in the woods. Glad to be here. I hope this forum takes off!

I shot today at a blanket shoot hosted by Lloyd Area Muzzleloaders in Crittenden, KY. I live in Henry County off I 71.

Are you guys into the SML scene at all? If so you ought to get together with Jeff Hankins (Hanks Precision Rifles) and check out his 'Kentucky Challenge' Matches held in the Spring & Fall (also 1 'Polar Bear' shoot in February). His shop is in Dry Ridge, but his 500 yard range is in Cynthiana. It's a great time with good fellowship, beautiful rifles and AWESOME food. 👍

Sounds interesting, but I'm not sure what SML is. I go to a lot of rendezvous.
