Curious about these "middle calibers"

Being a newer shooter, I was quite surprised to find that the revolver case only contained .22s and .38s. I thought there would be a few more choices in between those calibers. That’s what brought me here, I’m curious to find out what other options I can explore.

.32Long, .32 H&R Mag. Or .327 Federal. Ammo tends to be pricy and can be hard to find.

 Yeah, there are revolver calibers out there that fit between a .22 and a .38, but they're pretty niche. Things like the .32 H&R Mag, the .327 Fed, or even the old .32 S&W Long. You just don't typically see them sitting on the shelves in most stores

Yeah that’s a common surprise, there are a few “in-between” options but they’re just less common in revolvers overall
