My pops always claimed that every state has a gun that “just fits its people.” After I got a couple of his old rifles, I started reflecting on what that would be for Kentucky. If we had to pick one firearm that really represents who we are, what would it be?

Marlin made the model 60 in Ky for a period of time, that'd be my vote. Hard to argue with a 22 as the every man's rifle.
